I am working on behalf of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council reviewing play park provision within the District. A new play strategy was adopted by the Council in February of this year which looks at the sustainable management and development of play parks going forward through an ambitious 10-year plan.
Dromore has been identified as a priority for delivery in year two. Through a review of play provision coupled with statistics for the local area, the Council is proposing the upgrade of the playparks at Dromore Village and Fairview Park. There is also a proposal for a new build, but the location of the play park has yet to be confirmed.
