Brilliant day of Gaelic football at Drumragh Sarsfield's.
Our P4 to P7 pupils had a great day playing Gaelic football in Drumragh Sarsfield's GAA pitches last week in the glorious sunshine.
Our brilliant Drumragh coaches Ben, Cain and Niall, along with several other members of the fantastic Drumragh Sarsfield's GAA club, very kindly organised a school football blitz for our school only.
Not only did they organise a full day of football, they sorted teams, refereed, purchased a cup, a shield and medals for the winning teams, and even provided snacks and drinks for every player.
This was done as a finale to their many weeks of weekly coaching in our school, as well as accompanying our teams to several tournaments throughout the term, to promote and enhance the Gaelic skills of our pupils.
These three coaches are a credit to Drumragh Sarsfield's GAA for their dedication and commitment and are a very fine example of what the GAA community is all about.
On behalf of all the children who benefited from this day of football and weeks of coaching, we would like to thank Drumragh GAA and their 3 amazing young men; Ben, Cain and Niall.
