Numeracy Week November 2021-A Great Success!
On Monday 15th November the pupils of All Saints’ embarked on a fun-filled week of Numeracy activities starting with a crime investigation to discover which member of staff stole all the trophies from the trophy cabinet and culminating in a Numeracy themed dress-up day on Friday. The pupils had lots of fun problem solving, measuring, estimating and calculating to discover who the thief was, as well as lots more maths problem solving throughout the week - in their classes, in the hall and outside. We also competed against over 1600 other schools throughout the world, in a Mathletics Numeracy Challenge Week and finished in a very credible 20th place, beating schools from as far afield as North & South America, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Africa.
A special word of thanks to all the staff, to the parents who created lots of amazing costumes, but most of all to all the pupils who were all absolutely fantastic mathematicians. Please click on the photos to get a flavour of what went on throughout the week.
Also attached is the final world-wide leaderboard, with all the schools that competed.
